The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has strict regulations to ensure the safety of food and beverages. These regulations typically refer to the safety of facilities, imports, exports, and the manufacturing of food and beverage items. At UReg FDA, we want to guide you through these regulations to save you time, money, and significant issues in the long run. We keep up with the latest regulations, acts, and protocols, so you don’t have to. This can be extensive for the food and beverage industry, but we offer many ways to help you stay within regulations.
The FDA must ensure that foods sold in the United States are safe, wholesome, and correctly labeled – both domestic and foreign. The Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FD&C Act) and the Fair Packaging and Labeling Act are the two laws our food is regulated under. We can help you review food labels and ingredient lists. Our extensive background in providing FDA-compliant labeling requirements will help us provide you with the necessary corrections to comply with regulations.
Any facility that manufactures, processes, packs, or stores food and beverage items (including dietary supplements) that will be consumed in the United States has to register with the FDA. The FDA does not issue registration certificates or recognize registration issued by a private business. UReg will verify your registration and give you a certificate, which will confirm your registration process is complete and valid. UReg will also perform renewal registration when it is time for you to renew, which will including a certificate of registration.
If your facility is outside of the United States, you must have a designated U.S. agent for FDA communications. Without this, your registration cannot be completed. UReg can also perform this service for you.
For any questions regarding FDA registration or if help is needed with the process, please visit the UReg – FDA Registrations website. We work with domestic and international clients across a broad spectrum of industries and product categories like food, cosmetics, dietary supplements, and so much more.
